Hire:

The Hirer acknowledges that he/she has read and understands the following conditions

Costumes must be returned to our premises during opening hours on or before the agreed date as stated on the hire agreement.

If costumes are ordered by phone or email for courier dispatch:

Costumes will be dispatched at the beginning of the week of the date required.  We aim to courier costumes out at least 3 days in advance, so early booking is suggested to ensure costumes arrive in time.  Costumes are to be couriered back the day after they are used. (Or the following Monday if used for a weekend function).  Costumes can be hired for longer periods by prior arrangement.

A bond is also required for the hire of each costume. The bond is payable on pickup or dispatch and is refundable on return of goods in good condition.  Bond is refunded by exactly the same method as it was paid.  Cash is not refunded unless the bond has been paid in cash.

The bond is only a gesture of goodwill to encourage the care and return of costumes and does not cover the replacement cost of the costume.

Costumes are to be returned in the condition they were received.  If the hirer is concerned about any faults they are required to notify us immediately when the costume is received so we can note this for our records.  (If we are not notified of this damage/ defect until after the date the costume is required for, it is only understandable from our point that the damage/ defect was caused by the hirer and therefore their responsibility)

The price of the bond varies depending on the item, so please ask for details.

Costumes are to be returned in the condition they were sent. Otherwise funds will be taken from the bond accordingly.  .   The bond will be refunded in part or in full, depending on the condition of the returned costume.  (Rips, cigarette burns, missing pieces etc will incur a fee)

Postage fees, if necessary, are charged in addition to the hireage charges and vary depending on the size of the costume.

A late fee of $10 per day per costume or part costume will be charged on overdue returns, up to the weekend following their return date at which time we reserve the right to charge 1 weeks extra hire.

Please ensure costumes fit correctly as no refund is given for costumes if they are the wrong size.  If possible we encourage customers to visit our showroom and try costumes out before hiring or booking.  If costumes are being ordered via email or phone, please ask for specific measurements if you are unsure. 

All fees are to be paid before the costumes are dispatched, so please ensure that correct details are given.

Alterations and Cleaning are not to be carried out without permission.  All our costumes are professionally cleaned after each hire.

A booking fee of $20 per costume is required at the time of booking and is NOT refunded in the event of cancellation.

On pick up once a costume has been signed for they are considered hired.  No refund will be given if you change your mind or don't wear the costume.

Customers are liable for collection costs on unreturned, lost or damaged items and unpaid late fees or accounts.

For Resale Items:

Due to health and safely regulations we do not accept  returns on makeup products, unless they are faulty in which case we will replace the item in accordance with the consumers guarantee act..

On all other items we will only accept returns if the item is faulty in accordance with the consumers guarantee act.  (So please choose carefully, and do not be offended when we decline return and refunded because you changed your mind or decided you didn't need the stockings, wig etc)
